Sri Sri Radharamanji

When Sri Gaurahari was touring South India, He spent four months during the rainy season called Caturmasya in Sri Rangam at the house of Vyenkata Bhatta, the chief priest of the Ranganath temple. His son, Sri Gopal Bhatta, was then able to serve the Lord to his heart’s content. Being pleased by his devotion, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu gave him initiation and ordered him to go to Vrndavan after the disappearance of his parents. There he should remain with Rupa and Santana Goswami doing bhajans and writing books.
At the age of 30, after the death of his parents, Gopal bhatta left for Vrndavan. When Lord Caitanya heard that Gopal Bhatta Goswami had arrived in Vrndavan and had met Sri Rupa and Sri Sanatan Goswami. He was very pleased. At the time Mahaprabhu had already visited Vrndavan although Sri Rupa and Sri Sanatan had gone to visit Him in Puri, Gopal Bhatta never received any invitation to go. Understanding his disappointment, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu sent His personal asana and cloth to him through Rupa and Sanatan, which can still be seen on special festivals in Radharaman temple.

Salagram shilas are the most potent form of the Lord. Krsna is ever-present in the Form of Salagram, which are found in the sacred Gandaki River. When salagram is worshipped with care and much love and devotion,one begins to feel true and complete Ananda (bliss).No act in Their service is left unbenifitted and each shila brings increasing Krsna Prem (love of God) into one’s life.
